Thank You Lord - Don Moen (Lyrics)

I come before you today
And there's just one thing that I want to say
Thank you lord
Thank you lord
For all you've given to me
For all the blessings that I cannot see
Thank you lord
Thank you lord
**
With a grateful heart
With a song of praise
With an outstretch arm
I will bless your name
Thank you lord
I just wanna thank you lord
Thank you lord
I just wanna thank you lord
Thank you lord
**
For all you've done in my life
You took my darkness and gave me your light
Thank you lord
Thank you lord
You took my sin and my shame
You took my sickness and healed all my pain
Thank you lord
Thank you lord

Trust in God.Always !!

A man found a cocoon of a butterfly. One day a small opening appeared. He sat and watched the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to force its body through that little hole. Then it seemed to stop making any progress. It appeared as if it had gotten as far as it could, and it could go no further. So the man decided to help the butterfly. He took a pair of scissors and snipped off the remaining bit of the cocoon. The butterfly then emerged easily. But it had a swollen body and small, shriveled wings. The man continued to watch the butterfly because he expected that, at any moment, the wings would enlarge and expand to be able to support the body, which would contract in time. Neither happened! In fact, the butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around with a swollen body and shriveled wings. It never was able to fly. What the man, in his kindness and haste, did not understand was that the restricting cocoon and the struggle required for the butterfly to get through the tiny opening were God's way of forcing fluid from the body of the butterfly into its wings so that it would be ready for flight once it achieved its freedom from the cocoon. Sometimes struggles are exactly what we need in our lives. If God allowed us to go through our lives without any obstacles, it would cripple us. We would not be as strong as what we could have been. We could never fly! I asked for Strength......... And God gave me Difficulties to make me strong. I asked for Wisdom......... And God gave me Problems to solve. I asked for Prosperity......... And God gave me Brain and Brawn to work. I asked for Courage......... And God gave me Danger to overcome. I asked for Love......... And God gave me troubled people to help. I asked for Favors......... And God gave me Opportunities. I received nothing I wanted........ I received everything I needed! Trust in God. Always!

With Your banner of love over me
I am longing to see You one day face to face
And to be with You endlessly Lord,
how lovely You are to me

Lovely Lord You are all to me
Lovely Lord Full of purity
Worthy of honor and majesty
Lord, how lovely You are to me

You are bright as the sunrise and fairest of all
Unto You all the glory will be
You are God of creation and Lord of my life
I will worship You faithfully
Lord, how lovely You are to me

We will worship the name of the Holiest One
We will worship Your excellency
We will give You the glory For things You have done
And be thankful eternally
Lord, how lovely You are to me [Chorus]

MY SAVIOUR LOVES (SONG)

I am not skilled to understand
What God has willed, what God has planned
I only know at His right hand
Stands one who is my Savior
I take Him at His word and deed
Christ died to save me; this I read
And in my heart I find a need
Of Him to be my savior
That He would leave His place on highA
nd come for sinful man to die
You count it strange, so once did I
Before I knew my Savior Chorus (2x's)

My Savior loves,
My Savior lives
My Savior's always there for me
My God: He was,
my God; He is
My God is always gonna be

Yes, living, dying, let me bring
My strength, my solace from this spring;
That He who lives to be my King
Once died to be my Savior
That He would leave His place on high
And come for sinful man to die
You count it strange,
so once did IBefore I knew my SaviorChorus (2x's)
My Savior livesMy Savior loves, My Savior lives

GRACE IS ENOUGH (SONG)

Great is Your faithfulness oh God
You wrestle with the sinner's heart
You lead us by still waters in to mercy
And nothing can keep us apart

So remember Your people
Remember Your children
Remember Your promiseOh God

Your grace is enough
Your grace is enough
Your grace is enough for me

Great is Your love and justice God
You use the weak to lead the strong
You lead us in the song of Your salvation
And all Your people sing along

So remember Your people
Remember Your children
Remember Your promiseOh God
Your grace is enough
Your grace is enough
Your grace is enough for me [x2]

So remember Your people
Remember Your children
Remember Your promiseOh God
Your grace is enough
Your grace is enough
Your grace is enough for me
Your grace is enough
Heaven reaching down to us
Your grace is enough for me
God I see your grace is enough
I'm covered in your love
Your grace is enough for me
For me

Anxiety

Worry doesn't accomplish anything. It's in the Bible, Psalm 37:8, "Stop your anger! Turn off your wrath. Don't fret and worry—it only leads to harm."
There's no need to worry—God has everything under control. It's in the Bible, Matthew 6:31-33, TLB. "So don't worry at all about having enough food and clothing. Why be like the heathen? For they take pride in all these things and are deeply concerned about them. But your heavenly Father already knows perfectly well that you need them, and He will give them to you if you give Him first place in your life and live as He wants you to."
We cannot remove worry until we replace it with something better—prayer. It's in the Bible, Philippians 4:6-7, . "Don't worry about anything; instead pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don't forget to thank Him for His answers. If you do this you will experience God's peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ Jesus."
Worrying is a waste of time. It's in the Bible, Luke 12:25-26, TLB. "And besides, what's the use of worrying? What good does it do? Will it add a single day to your life? Of course not! And if worry can't even do such little things as that, what's the use of worrying over bigger things?"
Give all your worries to the Lord. It's in the Bible, I Peter 5:7, TLB. "Let Him have all your worries and cares, for He is always thinking about you and watching everything that concerns you."

MIGHTY TO SAVE (HILLSONG)

Everyone needs compassion,
Love that's never failing;
Let mercy fall on me.
Everyone needs forgiveness,
The kindness of a Saviour;
The Hope of nations.
Saviour, He can move the mountains,
My God is Mighty to save,
He is Mighty to save.
Forever, Author of salvation,
He rose and conquered the grave,
Jesus conquered the grave.
So take me as You find me,
All my fears and failures,
Fill my life again.
I give my life to follow
Everything I believe in,
Now I surrender.
My Saviour, He can move the mountains,
My God is Mighty to save,
He is Mighty to save.
Forever, Author of salvation,
He rose and conquered the grave,
Jesus conquered the grave.
Shine your light and let the whole world see,
We're singing for the glory of the risen King...Jesus (x2)
My Saviour, He can move the mountains,
My God is Mighty to save,He is Mighty to save.
Forever, Author of salvation,
He rose and conquered the grave,Jesus conquered the grave.
My Saviour, you can move the mountains,
You are mighty to save,You are mighty to save.
Forever, Author of Salvation,
You rose and conquered the grave,Yes you conquered the grave

How to Spend Time With God (beautiful - be blessed!)

Every success in life is based on the strength of your prayer life. Prayer is a necessary discipline in the life of every Believer because it authorizes God to get involved with our situations and circumstances. The most powerful thing any human being can do is pray. A. It is important you hear God's voice in your day-to-day life (Hebrews 3:7). 1. God is still speaking; can you hear Him? a. God said, If my people will humble themselves and pray and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from Heaven. b. Refuse to trust yourself more than you do God (Zechariah 4:6). 2. Prayer is adding your agreement to what God has already done (Matthew 26:38). a. Prayer is also saying to God what He has already said in His Word. i. God gave mankind dominion and authority over the Earth. ii. You have authority and absolute mastery over the enemy (Luke 10:19). 3. When you do not pray, you fail to authorize Heaven's involvement in your affairs. a. Prayer is the foundation for every successful endeavor in life. b. Jesus shed His blood for you to have success. c. What you display in public is a result of your private time with God. d. A life without prayer is a life of failure. B. Pray the will of God for your life, not your own will (Matthew 26:36-39). 1. Jesus spent considerable time in prayer each day, praying for the success of His mission, which was the will of God for His life. a. Do not come to God as if He is your personal genie; seek His will for your life. 2. Discipline yourself to pray for one hour every day. a. Do not be like the disciples, who could not stay awake for one hour to pray. i. Jesus is constantly interceding for you. C. Pray in the spirit. 1. Praying in the spirit builds you up-soul, spirit, and body. a. When you pray in the spirit for an hour, you will have the peace of God and things will be well with you. D. Prayer must be taught (Luke 11:1-4). 1. Many people believe they know how to pray; however, they need to know how to correctly pray according to God's Word. 2. You must develop a desire to pray. 3. Transform your prayer life from discipline, to desire, to delight. 4. Jesus cleansed the temple which made it a house of purity; then the temple became a house of prayer (Matthew 21:12-16). a. He drove out everything that was impure. b. You must be a "house of purity" before you can become truly powerful in your prayer life. i. Cleanse your soul of all impurity. 5. What happens when it is no longer a chore to pray? a. You have moved from discipline to delight. b. This is the stage where you look forward to spending time with God. c. You become a house of power and miracles will take place. d. You will receive the desires of your heart. E. The Holy Spirit will birth in you the desire to pray (Romans 8:27). 1. Overcome your flesh and allow the Spirit to lead you (1 Corinthians 9:24-27). 2. Depend on the Holy Spirit for the desire and discipline to pray. 3. Power comes when you establish a daily relationship with God. a. Power is the ability to get results. F. The Lord's Prayer is a model prayer (Matthew 6:6-13). 1. Topic #1: Our Father which art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name. a. Enter into praise. 2. Topic #2: Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done. a. Set and maintain priorities for that day. 3. Topic #3: Give us this day our daily bread. a. Pray for your provision. 4. Topic #4: Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. a. Set your will to forgive. 5. Topic #5: Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. a. Pray for protection. 6. Topic #6: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. a. Return to praise.

Give Thanks (song)

Give thanks with a grateful heart,
Give thanks unto the Holy One,
Give thanks because He's given
Jesus Christ, His Son

And now let the weak say "I am strong",
Let the poor say "I am rich",
Because of what the Lord, has done for us

Give Thanks…

story time

LEARN FROM CHILDREN
Once a boy went to a shop with his mother. The shop keeper looked at the small cute child and showed him a bottle with sweets and said, 'Dear Child, you can take the sweets.'But the child didn't take. The shop keeper was surprised. He is such a small child but why is he not taking the sweets from the bottle, he wondered. Again he told the child to take the sweets.... Now the mother also heard that and said, 'Take the sweets dear.'Yet he didn't take... The shopkeeper, seeing the child not taking the sweets, himself took the sweets and gave it to the child. The child was happy to get two hands full of sweets. While returning home the Mother asked the child, 'Why didn't you take the sweets when the shop keeper told you to take?'Can you guess the response:The child replies, 'Mom, my hands are very small, and if I take the sweets, I can only take few. But, now you see - when uncle gave with his big hands.... how many more sweets I got???'When we take we may get little; but, when God - The Almighty gives, He gives us more beyond our expectations.... more than what we can hold..!!

Send “Give us clean hands” Ringtone to Your Cell
We bow our hearts
We bend our knees
Oh Spirit come make us humble
We turn our eyesFrom evil things
Oh Lord we cast down our idols
So give us clean handsand
give us pure hearts
Let us not lift our souls to another
Oh give us clean handsand give us pure hearts
Let us not lift our souls to another
Oh God let this be a generation that seeks
Who seeks Your face, Oh God of Jacob
Oh God let us be a generation that seeks
Who seeks Your face, Oh God of Jacob
We bow our hearts
We bend our knees
Oh Spirit come make us humble
We turn our eyesFrom evil things
Oh Lord we cast down our idols
So give us clean handsand give us pure hearts

song

You are my strength when I am weak
You are the treasure that I seek
You are my all in all
Seeking You as a precious jewel
Lord, to give up I'd be a fool
You are my all in all
Taking my sin, my cross, my shame
Rising up again I bless Your name
You are my all in all
When I fall down You pick me up
When I am dry You fill my cup
You are my all in all
Jesus, Lamb of God Worthy is Your name
Jesus, Lamb of God Worthy is Your name
You are my strength when I am weak
You are the treasure that I seek
You are my all in all
Seeking You as a precious jewel
Lord, to give up I'd be a fool
You are my all in all
Taking my sin, my cross, my shame
Rising up again I bless Your name
You are my all in all
When I fall down You pick me up
When I get dry You fill my cup
You are my all in all

Interview with Rick Warren

Regardless of how religious you are, thisis very true. This is a great interview with Rick Warren. He wrote thePurpose Driven Life. You will enjoy the new insights that Rick Warren has, with his wife nowhaving cancer and him having 'wealth' from the book sales. This is an absolutelyincredible short interview with Rick Warren, 'Purpose Driven Life ' author and pastor ofSaddleback Church in California. In the interview by Paul Bradshaw with Rick Warren, Rick said: People askme, What is the purpose of life? And I respond: In a nutshell, life ispreparation for eternity. We were not made to last forever, and God wantsus to be with Him in Heaven. One day my heart is going to stop, and thatwill be the end of my body-- but not the end of me. I may live 60 to 100 years on earth, but Iam going to spend trillions of years in eternity. This is the warm-up act- the dress rehearsal. God wants us to practice on earth what we will doforever in eternity. We were made by God and for God, and until you figurethat out, life isn't going to make sense. Life is a series of problems: Either you arein one now, you're just coming out of one, or you're getting ready to gointo another one. The reason for this is that God is more interested inyour character than your comfort; God is more interested in making yourlife holy than He is in making your life happy. We can be reasonably happy here on earth, but that's not the goal of life. The goal is to grow in character, in Christlikeness.
This past year has been the greatest yearof my life but also the toughest, with my wife, Kay, getting cancer. Iused to think that life was hills and valleys - you go through a dark time, then you go to the mountaintop, back and forth. I don't believe that anymore.Rather than life being hills and valleys,I believe that it's kind of like two rails on a railroad track, and atall times you have something good and something bad in your life. No matter how good things are in your life, there is always something bad that needs to be worked on. And no matterhow bad things are in your life, there is always something good you canthank (your) God for.. You can focus on your purposes, or you canfocus on your problems: If you focus on your problems, you're going into self-centeredness, whichis my problem, my issues, my pain.' But one of the easiest ways to getrid of pain is to get your focus off yourself and onto God and others. We discovered quickly that in spite of theprayers of hundreds of thousands of people, God was not going to heal Kayor make it easy for her- It has been very difficult for her, and yet Godhas strengthened her character, given her a ministry of helping other people, given her a testimony, drawn her closer to Him and to people. You have to learn to deal with both the goodand the bad of life. Actually, sometimes learning to deal withthe good is harder. For instance, this past year, all of a sudden, whenthe book sold 15 million copies, it made me instantly very wealthy. It also brought a lot of notoriety that Ihad never had to deal with before. I don't think God gives you money ornotoriety for your own ego or for you to live a life of ease.. So I began to ask God what He wanted me todo with this money, notoriety and influence. He gave me two different passagesthat helped me decide what to do, II Corinthians 9 and Psalm 72. First, in spite of all the money coming in,we would not change our lifestyle one bit.. We made no major purchases.Second, about midway through last year, Istopped taking a salary from the church. Third, we set up foundations to fund an initiativewe call The Peace Plan to plant churches, equip leaders, assist the poor, care for the sick, and educate the next generation. Fourth, I added up all that the church hadpaid me in the 24 years since I started the church, and I gave it all back.It was liberating to be able to serve God for free. We need to ask ourselves: Am I going to livefor possessions? Popularity? Am I going to be driven by pressures? Guilt?Bitterness? Materialism? Or am I going to be driven by God's purposes (formy life)? When I get up in the morning, I sit on theside of my bed and say, God, if I don't get anything else done today, Iwant to know You more and love You better. God didn't put me on earth justto fulfill a to-do list. He's more interested in what I am than what Ido. That's why we're called human beings, nothuman doings. Happy moments, PRAISE GOD. Difficult moments, SEEK GOD. Quiet moments, WORSHIP GOD. Painful moments, TRUST GOD. Every moment, THANK GOD. God's Blessings.

give thanks

How can I repay the Lord for all his goodness to me? Psalm 116:12
We ask the Lord to help us and provide for us each day; he gives us health, riches, honour and strength. Many times we forget to stop and thank the Lord for all that he has given us. The Lord has shown his mercy to us and he wants to hear our thanks and praises. When you thank him for all that he has done; his goodness and mercy will follow you all the days of your life.
Prayer,
Heavenly father, I come before your presence. Lord I thank and praise you for all that you have given unto me. I thank you for your love and mercy, for the strength that you have given to me and for blessing my family. You alone deserve all the praise. Help me to remember all that you have done for me. With faith I commit everything into your loving hands. All this I ask in Jesus name. Amen

fear of man

VERSE: Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe. -- Proverbs 29:25

THOUGHT: Jesus told us not to fear other human opponents (Lk. 12:4-5). When we try to please others, when we fear what others may say or do to us, we place ourselves in a position of great vulnerability. Our lives no longer remain our own. We become captive to what others think, want, or threaten. We are to trust only the LORD and reverence him. In God is our safety, both now, and forevermore.

PRAYER: Please keep me safe, O LORD, from those who oppose me and would do me harm. Make my life a holy praise to honor you. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

flower of life

Flower of Life

A water bearer in China had two large pots, each hung on the ends of a pole which he carried across his neck. One of the pots had a crack in it, while the other pot was perfect and always delivered a full portion of water. At the end of the long walk from the stream to the House, the cracked pot arrived only half full. For a full two years this went on daily, with the bearer delivering only one and a half pots full of water to his house. Of course, the perfect pot was proud of its accomplishments, perfect for which it was made. But the poor cracked pot was ashamed of its own imperfection. And miserable that it was able to accomplish only half of what it had been made to do.

After two years of what it perceived to be a bitter failure, it spoke to the water bearer one day by the stream. "I am ashamed of myself, and I want to apologize to you. I have been able to deliver only half my load because this crack in my side causes water to leak out all the way back to your house. Because of my flaws, you have to do all of this work, and you don't get full value from your efforts," the pot said.

The bearer said to the pot, "Did you notice that there were flowers only on your side of the path, but not on the other pot's side? That's because I have always known about your flaw. So I planted flower seeds on your side of the path, and every day while we walk back, you've watered them. For two years I have been able to pick these beautiful flowers to decorate the table. Without you being just the way you are, there would not be this beauty to grace the house?

Each of us has our own unique flaws. We're all cracked pots. But it's the cracks and flaws we each have that make our lives together so very interesting and rewarding. You've just got to take each person for what they are, and look for the good in them. Blessed are the flexible, for they shall not be bent out of shape. Remember to appreciate all the different people in your life.
